VNHA is proud to announce that Matt Kohut of our Princeton Civil Engineering Department has successfully passed the New Jersey Professional Engineers Exam!
Matt joined VNHA in 2013 following his graduation from Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. Matt’s experience includes site plan design on commercial, educational, and municipal projects encompassing site layout and grading, drainage analysis, water and wastewater systems, stormwater management systems, soil erosion and sediment control measures, pedestrian pathways, roadways, and parking facilities. Matt also assists with construction related tasks including submittal and shop drawing review and engineering design during construction observation, as well as preparation of specifications, calculations, and engineering reports.
To become licensed, engineers must complete a four-year college degree, work under a Professional Engineer for at least four years, pass two intensive competency exams and earn a license from their state’s licensure board. Licensure is the industry’s highest standard for ethics and quality assurance.
The VNHA Team congratulates Matt on his achievement! We’re certain that there will be many more that follow.
